Most people start out E-styling and it is thus automatically dubbed
'nooby', but you may notice that if you
spend allot of time learning it, you can get to be really good at
it, and it becomes quite powerful in deathmatches.
Roll's
Rolls are for use in a fight, you're MUCH better off not to roll
around for no reason, because while you are rolling you cant
instantly change direction, this makes you an easy target, also,
make sure you don't roll into things to much, learn all the maps as
fast as possible to stop this from happening so much.
Dash's
Used by E-Styler's only when running, you must know how to keep your
dashing a single movement, this doesn't involve just hitting the
forward button really fast, its timing, you must hit the forward
button and then the space button immediately afterword's, and then
the forward button again as fast as possible, learn to do with
quickly to be good at running when you need to.
Shooting
This has more to do with what gun you're using then anything else,
really, you need to learn to use well whatever gun you choose as
your desired weapon, revolvers you must aim and fire, while with a
rifle allot of people just hold down the button and shoot in their
targets general direction, just remember, the back of the neck is
the most vulnerable place on a player, or right in their face if you
are in front of them.
Grenadiers
This is a key part of E-Styling, explosions tend to work well on K-stylers,
and K-stylers are an E-stylers worst problem. Don't waste a grenade
on just anyone, especially a single person since you probably wont
hit them or do very minimal damage. Use it when allot of people
are grouped together, this can be very helpful in Att & Def matches(narrow
pathways).
Tactics
This is most likely the only way you will become a very good
player, running on walls, dashing randomly, generally being
un-predictable. Basically this means if your target is coming around
a bend, massive them, then do as much damage while they are
incapacitated. Keep on eye on your surroundings, know who's coming
and where from. Take health/AP when you don't need it, because your
enemy might.
Just rushing into your enemy blocking will kill you fast, because
your enemy probably knows to aim at your feet.
Be prepared and remember to focus, don't button mash.
Tactic's against K-stylers
Blocking while
someone is butter-flying you will simply not work. Remember to block
at the right times, watch their style, block when they slash, not
when they dash. Knocking a K-styler off
guard is possibly the best way to beat them, or just run and shoot,
and dash/roll when they shoot back.
Equipment
An E-styler's equipment is entirely based upon what
that particular person likes to use. I strongly suggest that you go
through all the guns in the game when you get enough money, find the
ones that you are most comfortable with.
