Now that you know how to get the game, and a little about it, run the game and start playing.

First you need to make a character, choose a server and then hit "Create" in the bottom of your screen, choose your Name, Gender, Face and hair color, and class; Please note it makes no difference at all what class you start as, other than what Guns you start out with -More can be bought later.

 

Hit accept and you have created your character! Now you can join games and talk to people in the lobby, I suggest that you just go deathmatching and kill people with some spray guns until level 11 -15, then you can get yourself some decent pistols, a good sword, and a shotgun, learning to aim is critical, before you even try to learn your choice of a style first you need to learn to keep your crosshair on your target.

 

I also suggest that you go to Options in game(esc and hit "game options" or hit "options" in the top right corner of your screen while in the lobby), go down to the "misc" tab and change your crosshair to your preferred choice, I use crosshair 3.

 

After you have gotten good at aiming, learn to switch to your sword/dagger when you move and dash, and switch back to your gun before you fire, this helps you get around faster and when using a sword you can block while you move.

 

I strongly suggest you go to options again and set your controls to the following if you intend to use any of the Styles in GunZ.

Walk/dash forward: W

Walk/dash right: D

Walk/dash back: S

Walk/dash left: A

Block: Shift

Jump: Space

Leave the other controls at the defaults.
